Welcome Back College of Education Faculty and Staff!

Congratulations on our many achievements over the Summer! As many of you know, the theme for this academic year is OUR PROMISE: Performance, Progress, Prominence. You have lived up to that promise! Many of your faculty colleagues were hard at work over the summer, taking on a number of projects that continue to raise our standards of performance, leading the College to greater prominence and distinction!

I believe this was one of our most productive and exciting summers to date and a wonderful example of the continuing superior performance of our faculty, staff, and administrators  – serving our students, community members, and many others. Our impact on the region is exemplary!

This electronic college-wide newsletter serves as an outlet to showcase some of our many achievements. Thank you!  A huge thanks also to those faculty colleagues who worked exceptionally hard to prepare for the first phase of our Graduate Program Reviews. Their initial steps in submitting the program reports for feedback were invaluable.

Please click the story titles on the left navigation bar to access each story in its entirety. I hope you enjoy reading about our College’s accomplishments as much as I did! Please feel free to distribute to other colleagues and friends of the College.

Expect to see the McCracken News at the beginning of every Fall and Spring Quarter. Don’t forget to keep our Public Affairs Office apprised of your successes! Let us continue to go out and do great things as we prepare Talented, Responsible, Ethical Educators.

Sincerely,

Renée A. Middleton, Ph.D.
